Saint Clare Productions is the audio and visual team of Juan Diego Catholic High School. It is comprised primarily of students enrolled in our Television Production I, Advanced Television Production, and Broadcast Journalism classes. Saint Clare Productions takes its name from Saint Clare, the patron saint of communications. A statue of Saint Clare is on display in the school.

The program’s advisor is Moses Baca. Mr. Baca has taught at Juan Diego since 2008, and has led the production program since 2011.

The program consists of a beginning television production course, which introduces students to camera operation, lighting, audio capture, writing, and other areas critical to the production process. Students who successfully complete this course are then eligible to enroll in Advanced Television Production or Broadcast Journalism. Advanced students continue to explore principles learned in their beginning class while students of Broadcast Journalism work regularly to produce the daily broadcast, the Saint Clare News. This includes writing news readers, producing news reports, and producing the live show.
